NFL jerseys are usually sold in three tiers: Game, Limited, and Elite. The names vary by manufacturer, but the logic is consistent.
Game
The everyday fan jersey. Printed numbers, lighter fabric, roomy cut. Best for wearing to a watch party or a game.
Limited
Mid-tier. Better fabric and more stitched details, often with a numbered edition. A reasonable sweet spot for a serious fan.
Elite
Closest to the on-field spec. Stitched numbers, heavier fabric, tighter cut. Best for collectors and display, less comfortable for casual wear.
Fit note
NFL jerseys are cut to fit over pads in some tiers. If you want a normal shirt fit, check the size chart and consider sizing down in Elite.
