Jersey sizing is not the same as T-shirt sizing. The same “Large” can feel like a fitted tee in one brand and a dress in another. This guide normalizes the public size charts so you can compare before you click.

Start with chest width, not the letter

Most official charts publish chest circumference and body length. Ignore the letter for a second and measure a jersey you already like. Lay it flat, measure pit-to-pit, double it, and compare that number to the chart.

Men’s Swingman vs Authentic

Swingman jerseys are cut for everyday wear and usually run close to a standard athletic fit. Authentic jerseys are cut closer to the on-court spec and feel longer and tighter through the chest. If you are between sizes and want a relaxed fit, size up in Authentic.

Women’s and youth

Women’s jerseys are cut shorter and narrower through the waist. Youth sizes are usually organized by age band, but height matters more than age. A tall 10-year-old may need a larger youth size or a small adult size.

What we still need

Official charts vary by season and manufacturer. We log the source and capture date for every table, and we add reader fit reports as they come in. If you own a jersey, submit a fit report so the next buyer has real data.
